Garbage in Two Asian Para Games Venues Cleaned

21.74 tons of garbage from two Asian Para Games venues were successfully cleaned by officers of East Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. Those venues are Popki Cibubur GOR and Velodrome, Rawamangun. 

The amount of waste we dispose of and clean up from both venues reached 21.74 tons. All of them are disposed to Bantar Gebang landfill, Bekasi

Wahyudi Rudianto, Section Head of Cleanliness and B3 Waste Processing said that 20 officers were sent to such venues. They have been alerted since October 6-13, 2018.

"The amount of waste we dispose of and clean up from both venues reached 21.74 tons. All of them are disposed to Bantar Gebang landfill, Bekasi," he stated, Monday (10/15).

According to him, garbage at Popki Cibubur GOR reached 13 tons and 8.74 tons were from Velodrome/Baseball Rawamangun. Types of garbage were cardboards, plastic bottles and so on.

"Garbage handling system is the same with the previous Asian Games. We do it maximally to complete," he said.
